Guided tours
We offer guided tours in our museum attractions, where a guide leads visitors through the exhibition spaces, providing information about the exhibition themes and history. Guided tours are available for both groups and individual visitors.
Guided Tours at Skogster Museum
Guided tours for groups should be booked in advance. See details below. Due to limited space, we do not primarily accept group reservations overlapping with public guided tours. Guided tours are available in Finnish and English, and other languages are available by arrangement.
Guided Tours and Groups at Palander House
We offer guided tours for individual visitors in the winter season (13/1-17/3/2024) every saturday and sunday at 3 pm. These tours are included in the ticket price.
A guided tour can accommodate up to 10 people at a time. Guided tours are available in Finnish and English.

Guided Tours and Groups at Birthplace of Jean Sibelius
Guided tours for individual visitors are available on Saturdays at 2 PM. The tour lasts a maximum of 30 minutes and is included in the admission ticket.

Museums are closed on New Year’s Day, Good Friday, May Day, Midsummer Eve, Midsummer Day, Midsummer Sunday, Independence Day, Christmas Eve Eve, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day.

All four museums are located within approximately one kilometer of each other, right in the center of Hämeenlinna! It’s about a 15-minute walk from the railway station and a 5-minute walk from the bus station to reach all our sites.
